Literary routes of Spain

Nowadays, having explored the word with seven-league boots we snatched from the ogre of technology, there are no unknown places left in the world to which a prodigious character can be attributed. This loss of imaginary territories invites us to go over the old roads again, but with new eyes in our heads. Since every journey is, now more than ever, a pilgrimage to the past and historical invocation which demands the perspective of culture, twenty-three modern writers, in whom the wandering inclinations of our classical authors survive, have composed this book of routes focussed on the life and work of Spanish authors of the past.

Each of the seventeen Autonomous Communities that compose our country is represented in this book by at least one route, so the peregrine reader may discover all of Spain along its literary roads.
